TRAINING PROGRAMME ON NUTRITION AND HEALTH EDUCATION

Guwahati, February 15, 2006

The Food & Nutrition Board, Govt. of India, Guwahati unit will organise a 2-day orientation training course on Nutrition & Health Education for grass root level workers, Pregnant & lactating mothers, Adolescence girls, Self-help group members at Puranigudam and at Gandhi Smarak Nidhi, Tetelia from February 14 15, 2006 and February 17 18, 2006 respectively.

The department will also conduct a 5-day Training Programme for Trainers (TOT) course on Nutritioin & Health Education for CDPO (ICDS) and LHS (Health) of Sibsagar district at the office of the Joint Director (Health), Sibsagar from February 21 25, 2006. Resource persons from Deptt. of Health, Sibsagar and Jorhat Home Science College will deliver speeches during the training programme.
