CELEBRATION OF NEHRU JAYANTI

The Nagoan unit of the Directorate of Field Publicity in association with Jyotishmita Kalyan Samiti, an NGO, Nagaon celebrated the Children Day on November 14, 2006 at Telia Panigaon Primary School, Nagaon.
A meeting was organised during the day which was presided over by Shri Brinchi Nath, Secretary, Sri Jougik Brahma Satra Sanaton Ashram (NGO), Nagaon. Other persons who spoke on the occasion are Mrs. Anima Bora, Head Mistress, Mrs. Jeauti Hazarika, Secretary Jyostismita Kalyan Samiti, Shri Surjya Bordoloi, State President of CNRI, Assam.
Photo exhibition, film shows and various competitions were also organized and prizes were distributed among the winning participants.
Earlier Shri Bijoy Krishna Paul, Field Publicity Officer In-charge, Nagoan unit explained the aim and objectives of the programme.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING PROGRAMME BY CIPET
Guwahati, November 15, 2006
Three Training Programmes of eight weeks duration on Skill Development will be organized by Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology. The training programme will be on 1) Design and Development of Injection Moulds, 2) Familiarization to Plastics Processing Techniques, 3) Plastic Tool Design through CAD-CAM. The training programme will be commenced from November 24, 2006 to December 15, 2006 at Changsari, District, Kamrup, Assam.
National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India will Sponsor the programmes.
Interested candidate may apply by sending application with details of course applied for, Name, Communication Address, Contact No., Qualification, Age, Sponsorship/Experience Certificate and a PP Size Photograph latest by November 20, 2006 to the Chief Manager, Project, CIPET, Changsari.
