ARUNACHAL PRADESH GETS 641MT FOODGRAINS UNDER SGRY

The Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India has approved the release of 641 MT of Common Rice during the year 2006-07 to 12 districts of Arunachal Pradesh through FCI depots under Sampoorna Grameen Rozgar Yozana.
The release will be utilized for approval items of works subject to the conditions laid down in the guidelines under the SGRY. The release order of the food grains will be valid up to 30th June, 2007 and FCI will release the food grains within three months from the date of issue of the release order. The food grains against a release order will be lifted only after the quantity authorized in the earlier order has been fully lifted. Transportation cost for lifting the foodgrains will be incurred in accordance with the detailed instructions circulated vide the ministrys letter No. V-24011/56/2001-SGRY(EAS) dated 3rd September. 2003. The payment of the foodgrains will be made by the Ministry of Rural Development directly to FCI on lifting of foodgrains and presentation of bills duly verified by the District Manager, FCI and DRDA of the concerned district in the prescribed format. The share of each intermediate Panchayat and Gram Panchayat will be determined in accordance wi!

SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING PROGRAMME BY CIPET
Guwahati, November 15, 2006
Three Training Programmes of eight weeks duration on Skill Development will be organized by Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology. The training programme will be on 1) Design and Development of Injection Moulds, 2) Familiarization to Plastics Processing Techniques, 3) Plastic Tool Design through CAD-CAM. The training programme will be commenced from November 24, 2006 to December 15, 2006 at Changsari, District, Kamrup, Assam.
National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India will Sponsor the programmes.
